Me and my son(8) spent four nights here during his spring break. This resort is great for kids as there are plenty of areas for them to hang out and there are multiple pools so that children can be in one pool and adults can be in another. All of the staff were lovely and helpful. They keep the grounds of the hotel very clean overall! My only complaint is the bathroom. The set up is a bit weird but we may do. They do not offer face towels so that something to keep in mind. Make sure you bring your own face towels or loofah. The soap that they offer is also not the best so make sure to have your own shower gel as well. The food selections were great for the most part. They changed daily, so there could be different nights dedicated to different cuisines of food. All in all it was a great stay and we would stay there again.

We moved to Best Western Jaco Resort after a disappointing stay in Manuel Antonio, and honestly, this all-inclusive resort ended up being just what we needed — especially with a toddler. Despite some clear downsides, we really enjoyed our time here. Pros: Great for families – Despite what we heard about Jaco not being ideal for kids, this place worked well for us. All-inclusive convenience – Made everything so much easier with a 2-year-old. Air conditioning – Worked well (although a bit direct over the bed). Delicious food – Some meals were genuinely amazing! Great variety for lunch and dinner. Drinks were great – Beer, wine, and cocktails were surprisingly good. Calm weekdays – Quiet and peaceful during most of the week.

If you like Carnival Cruises you will probably enjoy this all-inclusive. DJ at the pool keeping the party going. The main pool has some shade. Rooms are modest but functional. Good AC and hot water . Located on the beach and close to the Main Street action. Meals are cafeteria style and reflect the Costa Rican palate (plain). You are going to eat a lot of rice and beans. Many options for the vegan traveller and if yuou need anything all you have to do is ask. Iguanas abound. Saw Scarlet Macaws every day. The staff were very accommodating.

The food here is great, with a good variety across the meals per day. The facility is very clean and the staff is very attentive and kind. The double garden room was spacious and clean. It is not the most modern, but I would not call it outdated. A convenience store and a couple restaurants are directly across the street. And the main corridor of the strip with shops, bars and restaurants is just a short walk up the street.

The ……,. Resort at Jaco beach was right at the beach and we witnessed the most beautiful sunset that evening. The all inclusive dinner meal was delicious and they prepared a special pasta dish to suit our preference for vegetarian food. The pools were clean and the outdoor showers near the beach too. The pool table and ping pong table were a nice addition which our group loved. Overall a good stay.
